Visions ERP connector links Work Requests and Inspection Tasks with SAP Notifications
The Visions ERP Connector links Visions Work Requests (WR) and Inspection Tasks (IT) with the SAP PM Module Notification Queue. This two-way interface extends SAP PM's time based scheduling capabilities to dynamic, Risk-Based work scheduling. This allows you to schedule Inspection Tasks and Work Requests based on the current condition of the equipment, deterioration rates and the RBI principles. Visions users now have the ability to automatically transfer data from IT and WR to SAP PM Notification with automatic feedback of completed work from SAP. These added efficiencies do make a difference to your bottom line!
Setting Visions apart...
Visions ERP interface is set apart from other competitive systems by the flexibility of the interface. Most other systems are using system which allow you to generate Failure Notification only (SAP PM-PCS - Process Control Systems Interface). Visions uses SAP PLM (Plant Lifecycle Management Interface) with ALMBAPI. This allows users to create any type of notification available within the system and also to transfer added narrative information (long text). Upon change of the notification status within SAP, appropriate changes are made to the corresponding Visions IT or WR, thereby completing the business process automatically.
Visons architecture allows for an easy integration with other systems. Visions Enterprise also offers the flexibility to develop additional integration based in client's specific needs. An example of such integration is a custom integration with EMPAC by Indus. This integration links EMPAC's work orders with Visions Inspection Tasks and Work Requests with similar functionality as SAP PLM Interface.
